We're looking for a compassionate, proactive and resilient Student Wellbeing, Safeguarding and Engagement Advisor to join our Student Wellbeing and Engagement team at Stamford College.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference to students' lives by promoting wellbeing, safeguarding vulnerable learners and creating a positive, inclusive college experience. Working alongside curriculum teams and external agencies, you'll provide advice, guidance and practical support to help students overcome barriers, stay engaged in learning and achieve their full potential.
What you'll be doing
Building positive relationships with students and providing person-centred support.
Promoting student wellbeing, safeguarding and positive engagement across the college.
Supporting students experiencing personal, emotional or wellbeing challenges.
Managing a caseload of students and contributing to safeguarding processes, assessments and support plans.
Working closely with curriculum teams, parents, carers and external agencies to ensure students receive the right support.
Responding to safeguarding concerns and contributing to a safe, supportive learning environment.
Supporting student enrichment activities, wellbeing campaigns and engagement initiatives throughout the year.
Maintaining accurate records and contributing to multi-agency meetings where appropriate.
We're looking for someone who
Has experience working with young people or vulnerable adults in an education, youth work, social care, safeguarding or wellbeing setting.
Is passionate about improving outcomes for young people.
Can build positive, trusting relationships and communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
Has excellent organisational skills and can manage a varied workload.
Is calm, resilient and confident when responding to challenging situations.
Understands the importance of safeguarding, inclusion and student wellbeing.
Is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment where every student can succeed.
