This is an extremely commercial role which will involve visiting a number of business sites across Norfolk, providing financial support to assist in decision making processes. The role will involve direct liaison with other divisions within the group which will add great value to the whole business. Key elements of the role include: •Produce accurate management accounts on a monthly basis for the group and to work with the management team to identify incremental profit opportunities. •Provide management information, particularly month end and end of year accounts. •Ensure costs are allocated to correct product/service and that all eligible bonuses are claimed. •Develop and implement accounting policies, methods and procedures for continuous improvement. •Prepare and submit market benchmarking information for sales and marketing divisions. •Assist with the collation of information for any external audits. •Analyse and check balance sheets, regularly monitoring and investigating discrepancies. •To process and maintain accounts and ledgers. •To set up accounts and post routine budget, revenue, expense and correcting entries. •Regularly monitor and check bank statements. •Prepare revenue and expense projections and any financial reports as requested. •Ensure that good relationships are maintained and developed with internal and external customers by meeting their requirements and exceeding their expectations. Experience required: Qualifications – Qualified CIMA or studier Min 2 years experience in a Management Accountant role.
